Hello! Welcome to our website! We are a couple who likes crazy things, if you couldn't tell :) Read below to learn more about how squaminals came about...
When Carrie and Joey first met, Carrie got a bad cold. Her mom brought her some herbal tea, it was made with Slippery Elm. "Slippery Elm?" Joey said, "what the heck is that?". We had no idea. So, somehow, Carrie accidently started calling it Slippery Elk tea.
The next part of the story comes late one night a few months ago. We were both laying in bed, Joey was asleep. Carrie was watching television when Joey (in his sleep) rolled over and whispers "There's a squirrel!" Carrie thought this was halarious. So the obsession with squirrels began.
As to how we mixed a squirrel and an elk together, remains a mystery. We can't seem to remember that part.
Now in our spare time, we create weird creatures that are a squirrel and another animal combined. Cool, no?
